Kate Spade Wellesley Setup & Handmade Dividers

Hi Planner Lovers!! Last night I recorded my second YouTube video, where I shared my new setup in my Kate Spade Wellesley planner. I made handmade dividers from the Studio Calico scrapbook kit and a few Planner Society accessories, and I’m so happy with how they turned out!

Check out my video and let me know what you think! I’ll also have several new videos coming up soon, like unboxings for my new Filofax A5 Nude Patent (squeal!!) and my first ever Erin Condren planner– as well as sticker hauls from some of my favorite Etsy shops.

Be sure to visit my blog at adoreplannerco.com for more videos & updates, and don’t miss my first Plan With Me video from Monday!

Plan With Me: May 2 – May 8

Plan With Me

Happy Monday, Planner Lovers! Things have been crazy lately, so I’m a week behind with my Plan With Me posts, but I do have an exciting treat to share with you today! I created my first ever Plan With Me video for YouTube, and even though I was initially apprehensive, I’m so glad that I conquered my nerves and made my first video. I plan to start doing a weekly Plan With Me video series that I’ll be sharing on my blog each Monday along with my post.

So without further ado.. Here’s my first ever Plan With Me video!

Weekly Habits & Resolutions, Week #1

Weekly Habits & Resolutions

This week I’m beginning a new series on my blog where I’ll be taking a look at my habits throughout the week, and my goals for the upcoming week. Several years ago I made a weekly life checklist to try to keep up with my home, finance, and fitness goals– it’s just a simple Word document, but it’s worked wonders for keeping track of daily tasks and staying on point toward my weekly goals.

Each week I’ll be critiquing my progress for the previous week, and setting new goals for the week ahead using my life checklist (which will also be available for you to download at the bottom of the post!)

Building a Healthy Morning Routine

IMG_2180

Mornings are the most important part of the day: they set the tone for the day ahead, and starting off with a healthy morning routine makes it easier to make good choices throughout the day. I’ve been working on building a healthy morning routine recently, and it’s already making a huge difference in my energy and mood– starting my days with a routine I love makes for a more positive mindset during my day.

I’ve been building on my morning routine for a few weeks now, and it’s still by no means perfected– the beauty of a routine is that it can evolve over time. I keep track of my morning routine and plan my goals for each day in my gorgeous fauxdori planner, which was made by Mellon Journal on Etsy. I think it’s important to start each day with something that energizes and refreshes you– I have my only hours of true quiet time during my early mornings, and they go a long way toward shaping the rest of my day into something positive and inspiring.

Fitness Planner: Week #2 + Printable Roundup

IMG_2130

This is the start of my second full week of using my Happy Planner to log my diet & exercise, and the fact that I’ve been sticking to my plan feels kind of miraculous. I’ve hit the gym just about every night for almost two weeks, and I can already start to feel the difference– I’m more energized, I’m more motivated, I’m happier, and I feel better all around– now to just get some of the pounds to start dropping off!

I’ve been keeping up with my routine fairly well, but there are still days where I struggle to stick to my resolution to eat healthier (delicious food is still one of my biggest vices!) I’ve been looking up recipes all week for new meals to try cooking at home, like cauliflower macaroni and cheese as a substitute for one of my all-time favorite guilty food pleasures.

This week I went more decorative in my Happy Planner with washi tape from The Planner Society and stickers by Heidi Swap and Mambi. I love the way that the Happy Planner is laid out: the vertical columns work so well for this kind of planning. I’ve been keeping track of my meals and exercise in my Happy Planner, and still loving it.

I’ve also gathered up a few of my favorite fitness planner printables from Etsy, including Happy Planner-style inserts that can be printed and used with the Happy Planner punch to refill your fitness planner.

Plan With Me: April 25 – May 1 + Happy Planner Giveaway

Plan With Me

Happy Monday, Planner Lovers! This week’s Plan With Me post is extra special, and if you’re a subscriber to my newsletter then you already know why! I’m hosting a giveaway for a Happy Planner bundle filled with stickers, accessories, and an amazingly gorgeous 18 month Happy Planner, which I announced yesterday in my Newsletter (subscribers get early access to all the goodies & giveaways on my blog!)

I spent the morning decorating my planner for the week, and I have to say that I love how it’s turned out so far. I used stamps from the most recent Studio Calico kits, as well as some of my favorite Planner Society stickers. The pineapple washi tape just slays me every time– it’s so adorable! This is the last week in April, and I’m admittedly going to miss the soft watercolors of this month’s Cocoa Daisy kit. Don’t get me wrong, the May kit is gorgeous– but I’m such a mint green fanatic that this kit felt like it was made just for me!

Plan With Me

I’m still planning in my A5 kikki.K Wellness Planner, and the binder is one of the most durable I’ve ever used; I really can’t recommend this planner highly enough, it’s quite possible my all-time favorite planner out of the many that I own. And speaking of kikki.K, they recently released a beautiful new polka dot planner and I want one so badly– a planner girl can never have too many planners!

Which brings me to the best part of this post…

Weekly Meal Plan: April 25 – May 1

IMG_1904

Every week, I sit down on Sundays to plan my meals for the week. I’ve found that planning out meals in advance helps to save time, stress, and money over the week– before I started meal planning, I would come home each night and stare into my refrigerator for ages wondering what to make for dinner. When I went grocery shopping without a plan, I would come home with absolutely everything because I thought to myself, well I might want this, or I might want this… Meal planning cuts out the uncertainty and provides a structure to build your week around.

Since I’ve been on a fitness kick lately, I’ve been trying to plan meals that are healthier instead of resorting to easy meals like frozen pizza and endless pasta. The upside to this is not only is it teaching me to be healthier on a daily basis, but it’s also forcing teachingme to cook.

On the Menu This Week:

Monday: Eggplant Parmigiana with Grilled Zucchini
Tuesday: Teriyaki Chicken with Stir-fry Vegetables
Wednesday: Whole Wheat Linguine & Marinara with Salad
Thursday: Oven Baked Salmon with Asparagus
Friday: Homemade Spinach Ricotta Flatbread Pizza with Salad
Saturday: Cauliflower Mac & Cheese with Homemade Zucchini Chips
Sunday: Lemon & Kalamata Chicken with Salad

To celebrate the new start of my Meal Planning series since my blog redesign, I’ve made a set of free printable meal planner inserts for you to download and use! My Meal Planner is available in both a5 and Personal size.
